What makes a great guest for The Power of Music Thinking?
- I am looking for guests who do something special AND are musicians. Not the other way round.
- So, music is more the hidden agenda or secret than having musicians as guests, who also do something interesting!
- Professionals who, in some way or another, use music, musical principles, instruments and techniques to work meaningfully together in another field.
Like:
- The CEO of a digital platform that is also the conductor of a Big Band
- The astrophysicist who works as a songwriter for German Schlager stars
- A Global Design Director of a well-known design firm, playing guitar and teaching at a top-notch music and art school
- The Director of a famous Design and Art school, who was a worldwide performing musician and conductor of classical music
… I think you get the idea:-)
Diversity is interesting
I like diversity, meaning people from different continents, races, colours, or genders. In short, people who are different from me in general but share the same music thinking.
It is a pre (not necessary though) if they understand the Music Thinking Framework and/or have listened to one or more episodes to get the hang of it. Or challenge my thinking 🙂
